PANAGYURISHTE IS THE 9TH TOWN WHERE BESTAMED FOREST GROWS
BestaMed team planted 48 trees in the city of Panagyurishte on October 9, 2021
BestaMed forest continues to grow and this year it reached the town of Panagyurishte. For 9 consecutive years, the pharmaceutical company team afforest the country, choosing different cities each year in expression of their corporate values - care for the environment as a basis of sustainable development in every aspect of our lives.
"BestaMed Forest - We Grow Together" initiative has been held annually since 2013. "Our dedicated team is involved in planting the trees and this is our way to unite as a group of professionals with common values and at the same time passing them on to the residents of the cities where we afforest," says Milena Ivanova - manager of BestaMed. According to her, the ethical and sustainable business is one of the elements of the national ecosystem, and our protective and proper attitude towards nature is the foundation for the well-being of people who live and work in Bulgaria.
BestaMed expresses its gratitude to the Mayor of Panagyurishte Mr. Nikola Belishki, the heads of the Department of Green Construction Mrs. Darina Shentova and the Department of Environmental Protection Mrs. Angelina Pezheva and the whole team of the municipal administration for the support, assistance and the contribution to the afforestation of the city.

After the last afforestation in Panagyurishte, the BestaMed Forest has already reached 718 trees. Over the years BestaMed team planted trees in Borovets in 2013, in Tryavna in 2014, in Stara Zagora in 2015, in Sofia in 2016, in Burgas in 2017, in Plovdiv in 2018, in Veliko Tarnovo in 2019 and in Sandanski in 2020.
